The commercialization of QCL(Quantum Cascade Laser) has achieved a new milestone with the recent maturing of room temperature continuous wave operation. Room temperature Mid-and-Far infrared QCL lasers can be used in ultra-fine molecules spectroscopy, high precision trace chemical sensing, free space optical communication, directional infrared counter measures and many other fields, both in research laboratories and out in industrial applications.
